…spring is coming

Despite the snow showers yesterday, the sure signs of spring are just around the corner. This pasque flower (Anemone patens) was photographed on a warm April 1st, 2005 afternoon in Bloomington (no, I’m not fooling). Hard to belive that we could be seeing the first wildflower blooms in less than 2 weeks!

Are you planning on getting out this spring to photograph wild flowers? If you have a photo from your adventures you’d like to share on the blog, send me an email to sjergens@mnnps.org
