Wildflowers from Seed -The Stratification Process

When we were at the winter botany field trip in December, Sage Passi from Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District (RWMWD) announced that they would be hosting a workshop teaching seed stratification techniques. Sage contacted me today and said that the Jan. 11th session was a big success, and since it filled up they have added another session for be held on Wednesday, January 17 from 6:30-8:00 PM at the Maplewood Nature Center. There is still some room available in the new session.

The cost is FREE, and you can register with Shelly at 651-792-7965

For more information, visit the RWMWD website.

Shoot, I need to check this website more often. I would have loved to go to this workshop. Thanks for the posts, all are interesting and informative. I’m a new member of MNNPS and I’m looking forward to what’s coming up in 2007.

Sorry you missed out on the class. I understand that a lot of people were interested in it, so maybe they’ll offer it again soon. If you contact the RWMWD, let them know you found out about it through this page!

I’ll try to post more notices like this as we find out about them. Feel free to email me if anybody knows of some interesting happenings!
